Amma
Through her extraordinary action of love and sacrifice, Mata Amritanandamayi, or Amma (Mother), as she is known, has gained the sympathy of million of persons all over the world. Amma shares her infinite love with all, indifferently from their faith, origins, profession, caressing them tenderly and holding them on her heart in a loving embrace. In this simple way of love, Amma is transforming, an embrace after the other, the life of tons of persons, helping their hearts to bloom. In last the 38 years, Amma has embraced beyond 28 million persons in every part of the world. Her untiring spirit of dedication in rising the others has inspired an immense net of charity activities through which the persons are rediscovering the beauty and the sense of peace that derives from serving disinterestedly the others. The teachings of Amma are universal. To every question on religion, she answers that her religion is the Love. Amma does not ask you to believe in God or to change your faith, but examine your true nature and believe in yourself.
Edoardo Beato
Was born in 1969, graduated at University of Padova in Philosophy with a thesis on Alan W. Watts, continuing the studies at the UCSB, Santa Barbara, California. He achieved the qualification of Master in Yoga Advaita Yoga Sangha Center in Rome with Antonio Nuzzo and in Aghor Yoga at Varanasi, India. He promotes Yoga culture with publications, conferences, seminaries in Italy and abroad.
